As the season’s flowers fade into the distance, I rely on my songs to keep me warm.
I wrote “Where’s the Light?” last month as the sun began to dip behind the mountain earlier each afternoon, casting my plot into ever-increasing shade. But rather than fighting the daily descent, I opened myself to what wisdom winter holds:
Embracing rest, and celebrating in community.
